The Craft

From Raw Wax
to Masterpiece

Every HOMM candle passes through five stages of meticulous craftsmanship. There are no shortcuts. There are no compromises. Just a family's unwavering commitment to creating the finest candles in the world.

01

Sourcing

The Finest Ingredients on Earth

We source our coconut wax from sustainable farms in the Philippines. Our soy comes from non-GMO fields in the American Midwest. Our fragrance oils are composed by master perfumers in Grasse, France — the birthplace of modern perfumery. We never compromise on origin, and we never will.

Every ingredient is tested for purity, burn quality, and scent throw before it enters our atelier.

02

Blending

The Art of Scent Composition

Creating a HOMM scent is like composing music. Top notes are the opening melody — bright and immediate. Heart notes form the harmony — the soul of the fragrance. Base notes are the rhythm — deep, lasting, unforgettable. Each candle takes 30-50 iterations before we're satisfied.

Our proprietary blending process ensures consistent scent throw from the first burn to the last.

03

Pouring

One Candle at a Time

We pour every candle by hand at a precise temperature — 135°F for our coconut-soy blend. Too hot and the fragrance evaporates. Too cool and the wax won't bond with the oil. This is why we will never automate. Machines can't feel temperature. Our hands can.

Each pour takes approximately 12 minutes of focused attention.

04

Curing

Patience Before Perfection

After pouring, every candle rests for a minimum of two weeks. During this curing period, the wax and fragrance oil bind at a molecular level, creating the rich, complex scent throw that HOMM is known for. Rushing this process would mean compromising on quality — and we don't do that.

Our curing room is temperature-controlled at 68°F with 45% humidity.

05

Finishing

The Final Touch

Every candle passes through a seven-point quality inspection. We check the surface for imperfections, test the wick alignment, verify the fragrance load, and ensure the vessel is flawless. Labels are applied by hand. Packaging is assembled with white-glove care. Only then does a candle earn the HOMM seal.

Approximately 3% of our candles don't pass inspection and are donated to local shelters.
